Kelsey received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing Lincoln Division in 2011. She received her Master of Science at the University of Texas at the Arlington College of Nursing in 2015. She has over five years of experience as an acute care nurse practitioner and five years of experience as an RN in the CV-ICU setting.

Makenzie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2018. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing in 2025.

She had 8 years of acute care nursing experience including ICU and CV-ICU prior to transitioning to AGACNP. She is board certified through the ANCC.
